Sounds like your horse has Spring fever too. When my guys get like this I
know its time for some realllly long rides AWAY from the barn. Can you ride
out for several hours, stop for lunch/grazing and then mosey (and I mean
mosey) back to the barn? Also, with the youngsters, I find that lounging them
first sort of takes the "edge" off (gets the bucks out too). Also, earlier on
Ridecamp some really good suggestions were given on circling and on teaching
your horse that you are the Alpha member of the herd. Maybe you could check
the archives on those, they were really good. Good luck to you -- Keep your
