Meals
In our area if meals are served they're pot luck. This seems to work the
best. We have the comeraderie of eating together without such a huge
headache for ride management. There probably isn't much problem if there
isn't a 100 mile ride, but at the ones we've traveled to the meal was
served HOURS before we finished riding. If anything is left, it doesn't
look fit to eat. So we always have to bring enough food to fix our own
meals, plus paying for the meal we don't get. As one person suggested I
guess I can add that to the list of things to ask about before going. An
extra $20 might not be the only reason not to go, but if choosing
between 2 rides, it presents a factor. For a larger family it would
really add up.
