I think it is a wonderful idea... any "horsey" event in our area always
has a food stand and they always invite some club (usually 4-H, FFA or
something to do with horses) to host it.  I believe they generally give
a donation back to the parent club as a thank you for letting them work
their butts off to make a little money, but I also know the people
attending the event are always thankful for some place to get a cold (or
hot) drink and a snack or a light meal if they get hungry.  Some of the
parents who help out make some delicious stuff!!  Could be a nice way to
enlist, encourage and reward those clubs who help out with trails, too.
