Just out of curiosity ( I am not trying to step on anyone's hooves!) Did you ask anyone who they were, or was it just expected that everyone should automaticly do it themselves?  I guess here in the Wet Northwest, we are all a pretty friendly group!  I always try to make an effort to talk to new people and introduce myself at work and anywhere I feel the need to socialize  :-)   The AERC group seem to be a pretty energetic talkitave group...I can not imagine being left out!  I hope you will be able to go to rides and meet the type of riders I enjoy here in the west!  

I live in Oregon, and if you are ever going to be in the neighborhood, please feel free to get a hold of me!! I would love to chat with new people!!!  :-)

Hopefully it is SUNNY where you are!  We were teased with 2 days of sun, no it has disappeared behind those wonderful rain clouds that keep Oregon so green and beautiful!!!
