Dear Ridecampers:

Please be advised that there is a protest in the works regarding the change in
sanctioning of the Sunriver Classic Endurance Ride.  The change in management
was done without our knowledge or consent, and regardless of whether or not
our protest is upheld, we have reserved the trails and the campsite for the
IAHA competitive trail ride that was scheduled concurrently with the endurance
ride and will hold it as planned.  

My apologies to any riders who may be inconvenienced if this ride is not held.
We will do our utmost to continue to provide this ride, but we strongly object
to the idea that a ride can simply be given away with no input whatsoever from
the people who have worked to develop it over the years and with no regard for
concurrently scheduled events.  Please keep in touch if you have been planning
on doing this ride; we will see what happens with our protest and then go from
there.
