Not sure when to use Quest, but I will say that Oscar Wilson, previous vet
of my horse (was his vet before I bought him) did not recommend using
Quest at all.  He didn't feel that there had been enough testing done on
it to insure its safety and its effectiveness.  Also, I remember reading
somewhere (think it was in a magazine...can look if it's really an issue),
that there can be neurological side-effects, especially in mares.
