   Yes, you are right.
    Dressage instructors go on and on about "relaxation" as the key to proper
movements...but when "Metallic", ridden by Robert Dover tried to rear over
during his test in Atlanta, the truth came out.
   Asking "any" horse to do something for which they are not prepared,
mentally or physically, is just downright mean.
   Thanks for your post...it was right on. IMHO.

                locomotion and the maintenance of a trouble-free horse.)
