Re: Feeding alfalfa when it is cold



You might consider adding some beet pulp to this diet or a little bit of
alfalfa or some other calcium source - particularly if you feed any grain at
all. The book numbers on orchardgrass show it to be marginally unbalanced
with regard to Ca/P. But it is also possible, that your orchardgrass might
test out a bit better.
