Depends on the horse.  A horse with a really well conformed back will not be
difficult to fit in the first place, and will be able to carry a variety of
saddles.  This likely will not change, even as the horse becomes fit.
However, a horse with a poorly conformed back may be very difficult to fit,
and may change shape so drastically that the horse may well need multiple
saddles over the course of its conditioning.
