I agree!  I have always had a long bed, and even with my three horse
slant-load, I wouldn"t have anything else.  I recently got a "new to me"
Ford Heavy-packge diesel, and love the savings in gas.  THe only thing I
would would want that I wasn"t able to get is the extended cab. 
Otherwise, I love the "new" truck!  Look carefully-it will be worth it
in the end.  Good luck--I know how long it takes to get just what you
want.
