Broken leg
>This is in response to your earlier plea for help. Tell your friend not to give up hope!!!!! I have seen two cases where horses have broken there legs and they both healed sound. In fact one is a 7yr Arabian Stallion that I have had the pleasure of starting under Saddle last month. (never had been broke to ride) Totally sound. The break was a little over a year ago and he spent several months in a cast. The owner of this particular stallion broke down and cried the first time I sat in the saddle. She never thought he would be rideable. The Vet she used gave him a complete clean bill of health. So keep the faith. The other horse is able to do flat work and still shows at some of the local shows in our area. He used to jump can't do that now,but flat work he is sound as a dollar.
Just some words of encouragement to your friend. Hang in there. There is always hope.
