Adequan/ligaments

A friend had a horse that the vet thought was getting some joint problems
in the fetlock. They put him on Adequan and he got better. However, I
later read an article (I think in Equus) that described his problem
perfectly. He was MORE lame when trotted with the bad leg on the OUTSIDE
of a circle. They said that could be ligament problems...their
prescription? Adequan...said it helps ligaments heal for some reason. I
could be totally wrong on any of this. Dealing with distant memories
with a woman who drinks LOTS of nutrasweet. Correct me if I'm wrong
somebody.
Angie & Kaboot (wasn't me, can't afford Adequan...new horses are
cheaper!)
