Re: Paulina Peak update

Hi, Northwest riders--

The fires are out along our Paulina Peak trail--yes, they did burn over part
of our trail, but the ground crews have assured me that there will be no
difficulty going through the burned parts by the weekend.  We are frantically
marking the good parts so that we will have some extra time for cleanup in the
burned areas--sadly, about a mile of the creek trail is in the burn zone, so I
hope it wasn't burned too badly.  Paul is up marking the rim trail today, and
we got the descent and quite a bit of the trail back to camp marked yesterday.
We will spend tomorrow on the jeep roads in the flats so that we have all day
Thursday if necessary to clear the burned area and mark Paulina Creek.  The
ride as of now is a definite go--if you need further updates, please give me a
