Fit happens with Measurement
The
Cavalry is on the horizon. Most of the problems with saddle fitting are due to a
lack of measurment. While our Saddletech Computer Saddle Fitting System can
graphically display the pressures under the saddle it cannot give the saddler
the "size" to make or adjust the saddle. For that you need the
Saddletech Gauge. This is a mechanical measuring device that measures the twist
and arc of the horses back. There are over 50 veterinarians, chiropracters and
saddlers both english and western that can measure your horse and provide
solutions.
The big news is that
Saddletech has recently developed a way to make "molded plywood" bars
or panels for the shape of your horse. Dr. Denis O'Brien and William Huston will
be recieving the first Saddletech Adjustable Jig in the near future and will be
able to make Endurance and Western trees to "measure". In addition,
Schleese Saddle Service and Euro-America will be taking delivery of their
computer systems in two weeks. They have been making and adjusting English
Saddles with the Saddletech Gauge for a few years.
We are currently building a
200 page web site at SADDLETECH.COM. You can go to our old site right now to get
a flavor of things to come. Under Product Showcase you can see all the
Measurement Systems. If you look in the Saddle Search you will see that very
soon you will be able to buy and sell saddles using our measurement technology.
Book mark the site, because
there will be a new research paper called "Scientific Saddle Fitting"
with 42 footnotes which will help you and we will be posting our on going
research for all to see. Or call me at 877-SADDLETECH for a veterianarian or
saddler near you. Remember Fit Happens with
Measurement.
