I don't recall Susan holding anyONE responsible for posts. This was pointed
out to all that ask questions, or just lurk, then slam whomever they request
answers for their posts. That has been ongoing on this list since the onset.
I couldn't care less if you agree or disagree (before you get ticked that
isn't a personalized you!) with my opinion, I'm allowed to have it. If asked,
and when you post (again not YOU) to a list you are inquiring to all that
receive mail from it, for a response.
Before Ridecamp, we would all sit around a roaring fire, with beverage of
choice, and share information. I don't know of many other sports where you
assist people competing against you, to help beat you. Or at least that's how
it is in the SE. Pretty much anyone crewing, assists anyone that needs it.
Info, feed, hay, whatever. That's what makes this sport so great! Some of
these "old timers" have vital information to share (no slam intended!) and if
we throw rocks at them, why should they bother.
PS there is a certain ride vet in SE that will and has, sit up all night
answering any questions anyone has. Not only cause he likes to help, but he
likes to talk too!
