cannon bone measurement

Hi folks-

I am in the process of shopping for a new horse.  Is there any reliable
index for how much the cannon bone circumference is likely to increase
once a LSD program is underway?

For example, if a five year old horse's current measurement is 7 3/4",
what will it increase to after a year's worth of  regular conditioning?

Thanks in advance for any info.  This horse purchase decision making is
more difficult than I had hoped for :-).
