another saddle pad ?? plus saddle ??

How about the neoprene saddle pads? Too hot for now probably, but
anyone have any luck with these. I love my neoprene girth/breastcollar.

I have an older (no-name brand) endurance saddle, seemed to fit my
horse for over a year now. goes well in it, no sores, no dry spots.
The last time I rode, he didn't want to go, walk, or race out from
under me. Got off, completely untacked, checked blanket, nothing.
retacked, same problem. After we got home, he had two small dime sized
sores on wither area. never happened before, no change in pad, HELP! 
He seems to be a hard to fit horse, high withers but narrow around.
Even tried a Bob Marshall sport saddle (guaranteed to fit any horse)
he hated it, wouldn't go, and then would try to run out from under it.
Glad they had a guarantee, they took it back no problem. After I got
this saddle, no problems, acted like a new horse. But now what do I
do, try new pads, have someone check the saddle? Has this ever
happened to anyone else, suddenly your saddle that fits no longer does??
