HI gang! While 44 horses - respondents - is not  ahuge number, it was
iteresting to me. Here goes.

GENDER - 25% riding stallions/45% mares/30% geldings. What does this say about
the supposed preferences for geldings?

DISCIPLINES - 25%open comp/ 24% breed comp/36% pleasure/3% roping/12%hunt. CTR
or endurance people did not respond.

BLOODLINES - 20% ride Polish/20% Egyptian/3% ride Spanish/20% ride Crabbet/ 3%
ride Russian/33% ride blended line horses.

HEIGHT - 54% ride horses 15 HH and smaller/43% ride horses 15.1 to 15.3/ only
3% ride horses over 15.3. The AVERAGE height was 14.2 3/4.

NUMBERS - 16% of respondents have only one horse/38% have 2-5 horses/ 16% have
6 - 10/ and a WHOPPING 30% have 11 or more!!! Geez! We are NOT alone!

RIDING TIME - 12% ride once a week/60% ride 2 - 4 times a week/ 28% ride 5-7-
times a week.Any nuts like me ride more than once a day??

There you have it! Okay - now how many of you spend more time on your horse
than on the internet? ME ME ME!!!

p.s. Still looking for riders of Fadjur horses, mares geldings, stallions. We
are still doign LD with ours - she is 23 now. Looking to find another someday
if we find another like her!
