Trail Blazer
Hey guys,
There's good news and bad. The good news is, I got my copy in the mail
today. The bad news is, they had to cut 2 paragraphs from my story,
which I think made it sound like the record skipped >sigh<...so, if any
of you English teachers out there catch yourself saying "That was a
rather rough transition", cut me some slack. I just happen to need a lot
of space to make a point, and sometimes they need to put an advertisement
in to pay the bills.
Looks like Susan's put together a great issue. I know it bothers lots of
people that it tends to be late, but so long as I get my issues
eventually, I'm happy. It's not like they're on current events or
anything...Nancy Loving's great article on "Bone" will be just as current
2 weeks later. For those of you who haven't subscribed in awhile,
they've really improved the magazine...lots of color photos, a very nice
grade of paper...and she's got a "buy one year, get one year free" offer
going for just $22.
Believe it or not, I've never met Susan Gibson, or any of the other
writers or editors, but I've been reading TB since back when it looked
like a little folded newspaper, and I'm glad that somebody puts out such
a top knotch magazine for a group that's as small as ours.
