According to Sandy himself, his mule is 17h.  I was there and asked him.
She is very special, a real rarity.  At the finish line she just about
plowed
down the tape barriers and all the people standing around as she KNEW
she was done and didn't care about all the hoopla--she wanted to go
back and EAT!!
