Re: night riding
I was in an Air Force BX (store) today and noted that they had strips of glow
in the dark tape for sale. These were designed to be placed on the back of
boony hats and helmets so that the soldier behind you could follow you through
the night. Used to call them cat eyes. These strips were slightly larger than
the old cat eyes I had seen used when I was in the army. Suspect that these
were big enough to show up from a horse length away. Could be taped on back of
helmet semi-permanently. Certainly not as bright as glow sticks and would
probably not distract horse.
