>I have the Bob Marshall Sports Saddle distributed by Circle Y which is the
real Sports Saddle but "dressed up". I bought it in the very beginning days
of my endurance riding because I liked the concept and it was very pretty.
It is extremely secure and gave me alot of confidence which I needed because
I had not been on a horse in ten years. The real mistake I made was not the
suede but the Horn. It was a barrel version with a four inch horn that
would leave me black and blue on mountain rides. It has since been removed.

>The suede gets slicked down real fast riding endurance. It just was not
intended for that kind of abuse. It will leave you sore until it wears down
a bit but you can remedy that with a fleece saddle cover. If you need
security and close contact, try it. If you are secure enough as a rider and
don't need to feel like you need to stick like glue, then buy it with
regular leather.
