ARENA/HARROW

This seems to be MY WEEK to post to Ridecamp.

I am completing a 100 x 200 ft outdoor arena.  There 
are many rocks in the soil,  and I plan to cover them
with clay-sand.  What might be the proper depth?  3",  8"?

To maintain it I will need to get a harrow.  I see several 
advertised in the popular horse magazines.  Has someone
had experience with any of these.  I plan to tow it with my
4 WD Ford Explorer.
