As a veterinarian, I certainly prefer to have the PR folks notify me if they
think there is a problem. It is then up to me to determine if the problem is
real or not. If it turns out to be a non-problem, so much the better, and it
has been a chance to educate all concerned. On the other hand, if an
observant PR person gets help to a problem horse sooner and prevents a small
problem from becoming a big one, then thank goodness for the intervention.
