Insurance coverage issues for Horse trailers

I work of a "major insurance company" in an agents office.  In FL this is how
it works:

The liability on the towing vehicle will cover the trailer that you are
pulling.

If you want physical damage coverage on your horse trailer, you need to
purchase a policy on your horse trailer.  It's not very expensive since there
is no liability on the horse trailer policy.
