Re: good books?
I feel that the two best books are an old one from Lew Hollander (can get
from his web page ... ride & tie) and the new one "Go The Distance" by
Nancy Loving. The others are okay, but not as specific or helpful as these
two!

Can someone recommend a good book on the market that will help a person
get started in endurance? I'm looking at conditioning, feeding etc.,
especially in different climates. I'm in the desert and must do lots of
sand training as well as hay the horse 12 months a year. Also, I've
never dealt with heart monitors.
