Re: ride wear

<< I and my husband wear what ever we want to. And between
the two of us we have thousands of endurance miles. Just wearing what WE
 think is COMFORTABLE.
Wear what you want. No judges are going to grade you down because you
 are not riding in
ENDURANCE CLOTHING! Just wear what you think is comfortable. Go For
 It!!!
 Happy nonchafing Trails!!

Comfort is the exact reason I wear cotton-Lycra tights. Around home I ride in
jeans, but I can't tolerate them for very long. My husband wears jeans because
that's what he wears ALL the time, but the insides of his knees look like raw
hamburger at the end of 50 miles. He doesn't want to be seen in tights and is
willing to be rubbed raw. I'm for comfort, hence the tights. I'm not trying to
make a fashion statement. And the Ariats are simply the most comfortable and
pain-free footwear I have ever found. I've tried western boots, hiking boots,
work boots, and sneakers, but Ariats are the only things I can wear that do
not fire up my nerve-damaged feet.
