Riders with hearing aids

Do any of you riders who use hearing aids have problems riding with them while using a helmet?  Are them any special type of hearing aids  that have less sound interferrence or feed back with the wind. Are somea hearing aids better than others for riders?  Or are these problems just manifestations of someone who will use any excuse not to use their hearing aid? Thanks for any enlightment on this subject.
