I have had this problem as well with crazy readings all over the place. That's
the key-- not just high readings consistently. I never body clip under the
saddle/girth area and that caused the crazy readings. Clipping just where the
electrodes sit and making sure the area is wet (I still use the gel) solves
the problem for me.
