My concern is not in masking the full-blown injury, but in masking the nagging
pre-injury one checkpoint BEFORE it becomes a full-blown injury, where a pull
might result in a short layoff and recovery instead of a horse in a dog-food
can. Drugs can't mask a full-blown injury, either, but they can sure get a
minor problem down the trail long enough to become a major one.
