Another Body Clipping Question

My daughter and I are planning to ride in Augusta, Ga at the Liberty Ride on
Memorial Day weekend. We live in the Smoky mountains where it is much cooler
and far less humid. My question is: Should we clip our horses right before the
ride to try to keep them cooler?
