Glad you put it so bluntly, Maryben. I have a problem two-year-old--he is a
stallion prospect that was raised as an orphan, and hence has some problems in
the respect department. I am wrestling with starting him as a two-year-old,
and it just sends chills up my spine. Even if I do so, it will be mostly
ground-work, and no real "conditioning"--just enough work to distract his
little one-track brain. He is too nice a horse to ruin physically by too much
work too soon, so we have a fine line to walk...
