the skito equalizer-- for the sports saddle- appares that most riders
use 3/4 or 1 inch thick foam.
I use the poly cotton duck top holds up well -i get 3 to 4 years on a
cover..but 3 would be good  the fleece gets matted  before the top wears
out
no wear patches  dont need them
not sure if you ordered one yet.

our price for the sports saddle pad is $130  plus shipping of about $6
this size pad cost a bit more
