Re: Determining conditioning distances
Hi All,
An excellent tool for determining trail distance is a measuring wheel. I
bought one years ago for use as a park volunteer to measure trail distances
for maps. It cost around $100.00. We use it all the time to settle bets,
etc. Have found that most hikers and riders underestimate distances! A
local ride manager has a big one and had it rigged up to be pulled by her
horse.
Happy Trails!
