I think this is true when dealing with "big" in the sense of heavier body
types, but should not be when dealing with Arabs that are merely tall. I
still find that family lines that have been selected for tallness are more
likely to have various problems (including but not limited to heart rate and
recovery problems) whereas those that are merely tall individuals from
families not particularly noted for tallness tend to have metabolic traits
similar to their less tall siblings, cousins, etc.
