yep, very true.  To be honest, we take a back route into Utah to avoid
the check post....you have to have certified hay (impossible to find in
AZ).  The only other thing you could do is buy hay after you cross the
border.

I've wondered if you have some of those cordura hay bags that you zip
the bales into if they would notice?
