Horse history=new Arab purchase
Can anyone out there tell me where to find more information generically
speaking on Arab horses? I recently bought a grey (now white) Arab mare
who I was told was about 8 years old with the name of Zhara (according
to her coggins). I sent a message on another site a couple of days ago
and someone responded saying she had looked up my mare's description and
found only one grey mare in the age category with Zhara in her name.
She said that her name could be Zhara Wind and be from California and
that she was born in March of 89. Does this ring a bell with anyone and
if so what else can you tell me about her?
Her previous owner only had her for a couple of months and she bought
her from a woman in upstate NY who bought her from a dealer. The dealer
gave her a coggins and the vet on the coggins would not devulge the
previous owner's name or address. Dead end. How can I trace this
horse? Or how does one trace any horse?
Maybe some kind person out there knows of her from California and I can
trace her foward to the owner in NY before the dealer then I can find
out her breeding. Is there a Zhara "line"? What do I do? This is my
first Arab and I am really excited about her. Maybe the original owner
would like to know what ever happened to her. She is very sweet but
extremely green, still.
I am also a "Newbie" and would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
Thanks.
