I have just bought a Polar heart rate
monitor - the kind that's about a
foot-long rubberized strap, thicker in
the middle for the transmitter,
electrodes within the strap.
What is the best way to attach it
without chafing the horse?
Under the cinch (western type rope
cinch)? If so, how to hold it in place?
Or in front of the cinch, using a
separate belt/surcingle? How would it
attach to that? The human-sized elastic
strap is a bit too short <G>.
Also, should it go centered, i.e., the
middle of it pointing down to the
ground, or someplace on the side?
Will be grateful for any helpful
suggestions. Please e-mail me directly,
so I can start using the thing! Thanks
and regards
