Re: Saddle for a Peruvian Paso Horse
Hi! I saw your post, and I thought you might like to see my web page. I
have an Australian tack store. I'm on www.horse-shop.com with inventory,
and also www.aa.net/AUSSIEPLACE/ , aussie@aa.net has more information.
Click on Ride Like the Man From Snowy River, and see what the Australian
saddle is all about. I presently have several good used saddles, many
listed on Consignments & Sales, also an Ortho-Flex Swain CT English
all-purpose saddle below dealer cost a close-out @ $1000. Was $1600. It
even fits the saddle stand: backwards! And the saddlestand is shaped like a
horse!
The Australian saddle has the shortest bars; it nestles down on the horse,
the packing comes down and finds the horse's back, becoming shaped like the
horse, and really frees up the front end. It's very cool. A crupper bar
comes on all saddles. Saddles range from $560. and up, but I have a very
nice James Somerset for $850. well used, is $1500. new. Please check us
out, and if you find anything of interest, I'll be happy to answer your
questions. Judy Worley, owner Shiloh Australian Saddles
