wide feet

Have you tried Vasque hiking boots? They make them in a wide width for
women, and the toe is not pointy. I have a pair called Sundowners and
love them for hiking & have a wide foot too - haven't ridden in them but
I'm sure they'd be fine, in fact I've seen a couple of men wearing them
on rides. They are also waterproof (leather with goretex liners) and
quite expensive but worth it. Good luck.
