Trailering-sweating
My mare sweats profusely during hauling. She loads easily, unloads easily, and rides
without scrambling. However, at the end of the ride, be it 15 minutes or an hour or more
she's dripping--leg wraps soaked! It doesn't seem to matter whether she's in a two horse
straight load or a stock trailer, tied or untied, with or without companions. She doesn't
have any interest in eating while riding. It's obviously a great stressor for her. And she
loves being at rides and is MORE than ready to go. Anyone have any experience with
this sort of thing? Nothing like have a depleated horse before the ride starts! Thanks.
