Help! Last year I bought a sport saddle
to resolve the difficulty in fitting my
horse's back. All year, no problem.
Not even on the first and only, so far,
50 mile competition. This spring, white
hairs are beginning to show at three
points. Each side where the stirrups
connect under the saddle and on his
wither. I really haven't been able to
ride him that hard with El Nino and I
stand only about 1/4 or less of my ride
time. I purchased the saddle pad with
inserts recommended for the sport saddle. I also use a Navaho blanket
underneath the pad just to protect it and not have to wash so often. I thought this saddle would be the perfect
solution. What do I do now?
