purchasing an endurance prospect
Hi,
I'm new to ridecamp. I wouldn't get near a computer before I discovered
ridecamp, now my husband and I have to take turns. I want to share my
experience of finding an endurance prospect. I started looking for a horse
about 6 months ago and had many interesting and educational encounters.
Alot of people wanted to talk me into buying a gelding when I stated that I
wanted a mare. After several dead ends a friend recommended that I talk to
Crockett and Sharon Dumas with Outlaw Trail. I did and found them to be
fair and considerate. I bought a lovely filly from them. I am very happy
with her and totally in love. She has excellent ground manners, loads like
a dream and willingly picks up her feet. She is started under saddle and I
am finishing her training myself. I have bought several horses in the past
from other people, and wasn't happy with the dealing, but in this case I
feel very satisfied and I think I have found an equine partner that will be
with me a very long time.
On a personal note: Lancet, I finally made it to ridecamp!
