Re: Horse chiropracters vs. accupressure?
I don't think is a 'vs' situation. Both of these modalities are very valuable 
in maintaining a horse's comfort. There may be some soreness for a day after a  
chiropractic adjustment and maybe also after a massage, but it's not serious. 
Accupressure is not supposed to work the muscles at all, it's supposed to work 
the energy pathways (that may or may not correspond to some of
 the nerve pathways.) The muscles may relax as a result of accupressure but 
the therapist doesn't actually massage the muscles unless they are also using 
other forms of massage, which is very common and very useful. There are 
benefits to chiropractic that can't be duplicated by massage and vice versa.
