I understand that a member of the BOD has already asked Doyle to determine
the per-member cost of administrative functions, clearly the most
important figure from which to begin calculations.  Analysis of this data
and extrapolation of current membership data and effects of changing fees,
etc., however, requires the expertise of someone experienced in
forecasting and market analysis.  Joe Long's earlier suggestion of hiring
a consultant to undertake this project is very reasonable, IMO, unless you
know of someone experienced in this field who would do so for free?  An
AERC member, perhaps?
