I have had no problems pulling my 3,000 lb two horse trailer, even with two
horses in it.  I think my truck weighs more than Susans.  I towed my one horse
up to Robie Park doing 50 mph all the way up.  My truck is rated to tow 5,000
lbs and have had no problems when pulling my max.  Good luck
