Cosequin Ride Date 1999

For all of you who e-mailed me about the plans for the Cosequin next year, I
just talked with the ride secretary Virginia Ingram and the new date for 1999
is Sept. 18. As last year, there will be an open 50, an open 100, and, if
Cosequin again offers sponsorship, a Cosequin Challenge 100 for qualified
horses.  We don't think there will be an IAHA division. 

Virginia  said the trail will be changed somewhat from last year with one
mountain climb over Milford taken out and a vet check added down by the river.
Those are the preliminary changes as of right now. 

The applications are not ready now, but should be by January 1. I have
volunteered to take names and address for anyone interested in  information
about the ride and will personally send you the applications as soon as they
are ready to go. Please e-mail your request for applications to me as soon as
you can, so I can be ready to mail  them out when I receive the applications.
Make sure you give me your complete mailing address  in your e-mail request. 

Also, now that you know the date,  you now have adequate time to get your
horses in condition for the ride, get them qualified and make your plans.  If
