Candy,
We keep a small bar refridgerator (small fridge like used in college
dorm rooms) out in the barn. That's where we store temperature
sensitive medications, supplements, apples/carrots, etc. It is
certainly worth it vs loss of expensive items. Every barn I ever
boarded at as a youngster had them, and we have had one since day 1 at
our ranch.
I'm surprised that you don't do the same. A simple styrofoam cooler
might do ok also to prevent the temperature fluctuations. Perhaps you
could pick one up and try that.
