Hello all-- When I ride, I either wear a baseball cap, or my trusty old
cowboy hat, or just sunglasses, depending on the weather and the mood. My
husband has been hounding me for months, years, to get a helmet. He said
they just made sense. I thought they looked like a toadstool, too yuppie,
too beginnner-ey, etc. However, since I've been struck with endurance
madness, I did go out and buy a helmet--for the +ACI-real rides+ACI-, not the rides
up into the hills, or on the backroads, or around the property.
Thanks to all your posts, you have me convinced. ALL RIDES are REAL rides.
If it means looking like a toadstool, so be it. Thanks for putting it all
into perspective. See you on the trail.
