New Arabian Trail Club APPROVED by IAHA!!!! :-)

News Flash from the IAHA Convention in Denver CO - the new Arabian Trail Riders Association has been approved!!!! This means that if you don't show your horses, or if you just don't want to belong to the local show group, you can join the ATRA and have your IAHA membership through them! IMHO, I would prefer to belong to this kind of group, since I have no real reason to belong to a 'show' group. :-) If you are already a member of IAHA, and are planning on RENEWING your membership through the new Arabian Trail Riders Association, fill out the form below, and make sure it is mailed no later than DECEMBER 20, 1998. The IAHA imposes a $10 late fee for all renewing members who have not paid their dues by the end of the year, so the form needs to be processed in time to be sent on to IAHA by 12/31/98.

ARABIAN TRAIL RIDERS MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

 

Arabian Trail Riders Association (ATRA) is affiliated with the International Arabian Horse Association (IAHA). An ATRA membership (EXCEPT for the "club Partner" membership) includes a membership in IAHA. If your idea of fun is riding your Arabian or half-Arabian horse on the trail, if you care about preserving and expanding horse trails, or if you would like to meet and share ideas with other trail riders, THIS IS THE CLUB FOR YOU!

 

 

 

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES FOR THE 11/98 - 10/99 MEMBERSHIP YEAR

 

- "ADULT MEMBER"                                                                $55.00   

- "ADULT MEMBER" postmarked after 12/20/98                 $65.00**

 

An "Adult" membership includes membership in IAHA and ATRA voting privileges.

 

- "JUNIOR MEMBER"                                                                $35.00   

- "JUNIOR MEMBER" postmarked after 12/20/98                 $35.00**

 

A "Junior" is a person who is under 18 years of age as of 12/31/98. The "Junior" membership includes membership in IAHA, but does not include ATRA voting privileges.

 

- "CLUB PARTNER"                                                                     $25.00   

 

A "Club Partner" membership does not include IAHA membership or ATRA voting privileges.

 

 

 

**NOTE: IAHA charges a $10 late fee for current members of IAHA who renew (whether it be in their existing club or a new club like ours) if the membership is submitted after 12/31. Since the membership must be sent by ATRA to IAHA with the appropriate paperwork, we need the membership postmarked to us by 12/20/98. If you do not currently belong to the IAHA directly or through any IAHA club, you do not have to pay the late fee.
